Best Practices

  • Don’t send spam. Only message people who opted in. Unsolicited texts can get your number blocked.
  • Don’t send too many texts at once. Follow the recommended hourly/daily limits.
  • Personalize your messages. Use names or custom info from CSV uploads or form entries.
  • Encourage replies. Responding contacts help keep your account in good standing.
  • Use smaller attachments. Large files may fail to send.
  • Delay between messages. Adding a few seconds between sends reduces risk of blocks.
  • Keep messages short. SMS is best under 160 characters; long messages may split.
  • Remove unnecessary links. Only include URLs when needed; avoid suspicious links.
  • Warm up new accounts. Start by sending a few messages before large campaigns.
  • Use a secondary number if needed. Protect your main number for personal use.
  • Build a messaging history. Accounts with prior activity are less likely to be blocked.
