- Some carriers allow several thousand messages per day (for example > 4,000 to > 7,000 were reported in different regions for business use).
- Users of iMessage (blue bubbles on Apple devices) have reported around 120-130 messages per hour without issues. iMessages between iPhones are sent via Apple, and their limits are not published.
- If you send via carrier SMS (green bubbles) or to non-Apple devices, the limits may be higher but still subject to your carrier’s rules.
- For best results, spread sends out using hourly or daily caps, use personalization, and monitor how your contacts respond.
- A newer number or one with little previous bulk-sending history typically has stricter limits until you build a positive track-record.
